Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospitality Professional to join our team at Raffles Makkah Palace. As a Tamayyaz– Commis, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service
  • Provide professional, friendly, and proactive guest service to ensure a positive experience for our guests.
  • Support fellow colleagues to maintain a high level of service quality.
• Culinary Skills
  • Prepare and serve all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage.
  • Prepare, measure, mix, knead, and shape dough or batter for all baking ingredients and bake bread, rolls, and breakfast pastries.
• Food Safety and Quality
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, daily features, and promotions.
  • Test all preparations before they leave the bakery to ensure highest quality at all times.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Teamwork and Morale
  • Promote teamwork and morale within the kitchen and with all other departments.
  • Contribute to and proactively assist co-workers to achieve a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

• Tamayyaz Program is for Saudi Nationals Only.
• Open to candidates with little to no work experience, including fresh graduates and those with up to 6 months of relevant work experience.
• Basic English skills are a must.
• Strong passion for the Hospitality Field.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible roster depending on departmental needs.
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
