Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopedic Surgery Specialist to join our team at Da Home Care. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the field of Orthopedic Surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Provide exceptional patient care in all aspects of General Orthopaedic Surgery, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
    • Offer consultation services (inpatient and emergency room) upon request, responding in a timely manner as outlined in our hospital policy.
    • Ensure the timely completion, accuracy, and eligibility of medical records.
    • Provide on-call service, ensuring availability and response time within the prescribed timeframe as per our hospital policy.
    • Conduct daily morning rounds to identify patients ready for discharge, ensuring discharge orders are written 24 hours prior to discharge.
    • Perform other clinical responsibilities related to the specialty as assigned.
  • Academic Responsibilities:
    • Provide orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
    • Participate in educational activities and training programs of the department, including national and international medical conferences.
    • Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and continuing education requirements.
  • Research Responsibilities:
    • Participate in clinical, basic, and translational research projects in accordance with our Research Advisory Council Policy, aiming to advance knowledge, improve postgraduate education, and contribute to national and international recognition.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of the required period of training in specialty and/or subspecialty.
  • Arab or American Board certification, membership, and/or fellowship status in the United Kingdom and/or Canada or their equivalent.
  • Seven (7) years of training in specialty or subspecialty plus postgraduate training experience, with a minimum of seven (7) years' experience in the subspecialty.
