Job Summary

International Hospitals Recruitment Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Specialty Nurse - WOC to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions, to patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in wound, ostomy, and continence care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in Nursing.
  • WOC Certification.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years recent experience as a Registered Nurse at a large acute-care/tertiary teaching hospital, including a minimum of four (4) years of current, full-time experience as a WOC Nurse.
  • License from North America, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.
  • Current and in good standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in the country of residence.
  • Current BLS/ACLS required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a wound, ostomy, and continence specialty unit.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and research in wound, ostomy, and continence care.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
