International Hospitals Recruitment Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Specialty Nurse - WOC to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions, to patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in wound, ostomy, and continence care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's degree in Nursing.
- WOC Certification.
- Minimum of eight (8) years recent experience as a Registered Nurse at a large acute-care/tertiary teaching hospital, including a minimum of four (4) years of current, full-time experience as a WOC Nurse.
- License from North America, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Current and in good standing Nursing License/Registration (RN) to practice in the country of residence.
- Current BLS/ACLS required.
- Experience working in a wound, ostomy, and continence specialty unit.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and research in wound, ostomy, and continence care.
- Leadership and mentoring experience.
