Key Responsibilities
  1. Regional Tax Compliance: Manage tax compliance and reporting processes across the group legal entities in the Middle East region, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns.
  2. Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with local tax authorities, external consultants, and advisors to ensure effective communication and resolution of tax-related matters.
  3. Tax Audit and Controversy: Manage tax audits and be responsible for tax controversy in the country, ensuring that all tax-related issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  4. Business Support: Provide high-quality guidance and support to the accounting and controlling team to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax efficiency.
  5. Tax Reporting and Payments: Prepare and coordinate tax returns and payments, ensuring that all tax-related obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Tax Governance: Support the development of compliance control systems and ensure that tax governance processes are in place to ensure effective tax management.
Requirements
  1. A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, taxation, or a related field.
  2. At least 7 years of experience in direct taxes, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, and transfer pricing.
  3. Good understanding of transfer pricing and experience in TP reporting.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with local tax authorities and third-party advisors.
  5. Fluent in English and Arabic.
