Accessibility Advocate

Arpatech seeks an experienced Interaction Designer to contribute to our innovative design team. As a key member, you will play a vital role in shaping our Design System and elevating our user experience. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a modern, distinct user experience that aligns with our brand identity.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• 5+ years of proven experience in web or product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in visual and motion design.
• Exceptional visual design skills, focusing on clean, modern interfaces.
• Expert knowledge in Accessibility and WCAG guidelines.
• Self-driven nature, with the ability to lead and collaborate within a team.
• Systems thinking ability, enabling you to extrapolate and extend shared patterns/behaviors.
• Proficiency in Figma and a deep understanding of web technology.
• Excellent communication skills, making complex ideas clear and concise.

• Design visually stunning, high-quality components and patterns that embody our brand identity.
• Develop a comprehensive visual design language that sets the tone for our user experience.
• Promote Accessibility, ensuring it becomes an integral part of our design culture.
• Collaborate closely with our development team to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of our designs.
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership and functional leaders to define and execute a clear vision for our Design System.
• Streamline processes and guidelines to maintain consistency across cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the maintenance of our Design System documentation website, ensuring it remains a valuable resource for our team.
• Champion Aspen UX both internally and externally, fostering a culture of design excellence.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, helping them grow and develop their skills.
