About the Role:

Asterix Communications is seeking an experienced Engineering Coordinator to join our team. As an Engineering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Work closely with the engineering team to ensure all maintenance activities are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Facilitate Communication: Coordinate with other departments to fulfill their engineering requirements and ensure effective communication between teams.
  • Monitor and Report: Monitor and prepare required reports on a day-to-day basis to facilitate required actions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Document and Record Keeping: Document Preventive Maintenance records, update engineering consumption data, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Team Support: Assist team members in finding records and documents from the engineering folders, prepare and maintain the engineering library and training room, and organize and coordinate department section meetings.
  • Training and Development: Document all training records and represent the Engineering department in meetings as advised.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Monitor and analyze guest satisfaction reports concerning the Maintenance department and coordinate with section managers for improvements.
  • Work Safety: Monitor the department work safety issues and coordinate with section managers for improvements, document work accidents and follow-ups.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate with the engineering team through documents about all necessary information on a day-to-day basis, collect feedback from the team and report to the DOE & ADOE, and coordinate all other maintenance requests/interventions with the concerned departments.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent required. At least a 2-year college (associate) degree preferred.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in the same field in hospitality.
