About the Role

Amentum is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Technician to join our team in the Fuels Division. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for performing electrical repairs and maintenance on Fuels assets in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and applicable USAF requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Electrical System Maintenance: Inspect, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems on Fuels assets, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, work instructions, USAF Technical Orders, industrial safety, and environmental policies.
  2. Diagnostic and Repair: Use and interpret wiring diagrams, test equipment, and special tools to diagnose and repair electrical system issues.
  3. Tool Management: Maintain and store out-loud items, including wet and dry charged batteries, electrolyte, battery clamps, and other required equipment.
  4. Documentation: Document time sheets and work orders, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  5. Team Collaboration: Assist Fuels Technicians as required with Fuels maintenance actions and work effectively with diverse workforce encompassing different cultural backgrounds.
  6. Physical Demands: Physically capable of performing all required duties, including lifting/pushing/pulling minimum of 50 lbs. and performing extensive work handling/lifting equipment.

Requirements

  1. Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Experience: Two years experience as an electrician required.
  3. Language: Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to understand, speak, read, and write English at an intermediate level.
  4. Travel: Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Apprenticeship: An apprenticeship in electrical engineering preferred.
  2. Additional Experience: Three years experience as an electrician required.
