Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supply Chain Optimization: Optimize product availability within budgeted inventory targets through effective end-to-end management of the supply chain.
  2. Vendor Partnerships: Work with vendor managers on expanding selection and making optimum sourcing recommendations/decisions.
  3. Process Enhancements: Implement system/process improvements in working with vendors on order management, vendor operations, and inventory management.
  4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Create, track, and report on KPIs that improve supply-chain efficiency.
  5. Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Provide user input to engineering teams across Amazon as they work to continuously improve systems and processes.
  6. Catalog Strategy and Data Analysis: Manage large-scale catalog selection, integrating strong and clear data analysis and business rationale into sound decision-making.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience with Excel, complex data sets, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Skills: Experience working with SQL, knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques, and strong relationship management and negotiations skills.
