Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing commercial strategies and initiatives in collaboration with the Commercial Director to support successful project delivery during design and construction phases.
  2. Overseeing and undertaking all commercial activities assigned to their respective project, including cost plan reviews, budget preparation, tender assessments, contract negotiations, progress payments, cost forecasting, claim management, auditing, and project finalization.
  3. Managing and developing commercial resources assigned to their respective project, promoting commercial acumen within the broader project team.
  4. Collaborating closely with Procurement to ensure coordinated and complementary commercial and procurement functions that satisfy overall program needs and requirements.
  5. Working effectively with other QIC departments, including Finance and Legal.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Engineering and commercial background working on large-scale multi-stage construction projects.
  • Proven negotiation skills and experience managing complex contracts.
  • Familiarity with commercial management software and analytical tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Organized, highly motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
