Our Expectations
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Guest Relations Agent to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, assist with check-in procedures, and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfill guest needs and special requests, such as room service, housekeeping, or maintenance.
- Manage VIP guest experiences, including personalized greetings, room preparations, and special arrangements.
- Conduct daily guest satisfaction checks and compile feedback reports for management review.
- Assist with guest check-out procedures and gather feedback on their stay.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update information in the hotel management system.
- Organize and coordinate special events or activities for guests, such as birthday celebrations or anniversary surprises.
- Provide concierge services, including restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations.
- Stay informed about hotel policies, services, and local area information to address guest questions effectively.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance guest service skills and knowledge.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in guest relations, hospitality, or customer service.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with the ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Knowledge of local customs, attractions, and services in Jeddah and surrounding areas.
- Experience in luxury hospitality settings is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
