Taqarec is seeking an experienced Offshore Engineering Director to join their team in KSA, Al Khobar.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Engineering Director to lead our offshore portfolio management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of procedures for control of all documents required for definition and control of interfaces in each project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement interface management procedure and project interface standard matrix;
  • Organize and attend project meetings;
  • Provide key engineering advice, assessment, and recommendations to ensure delivery of multi-contract projects within time, budget, and quality;
  • Ensure compliance with industry best practices and health, safety, and environmental regulations;
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers working on offshore projects;
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality, cost-effective engineering advice to projects;
  • Maintain full awareness of latest technical and commercial developments and identify suitable new technologies to reduce costs and improve safety;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university;
  • Experience in execution of offshore mega projects, Brownfield, and Greenfield from cradle to grave;
  • Substantial experience designing and working in the offshore industry, Aramco experience preferred;
  • High degree of competency in future planning and proven experience in delivery of large packages;
  • Sound relationship management skills and confidence working with Senior Management;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to influence and develop key engineering decisions;
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering procedures, standards, and guidance;

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum depending on experience.
