Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Control Room Operator to join our team at ENGIE Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our Cogeneration plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plant Operations
    • Operate the Cogeneration plant from the control room to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
    • Monitor and control plant equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
    • Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety procedures and regulations.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
    • Participate in safety training and development programs to stay up-to-date with best practices.
  • Coordination and Communication
    • Coordinate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve issues and address concerns.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to management on plant performance and operations.
  • Reporting and Documentation
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on plant operations and performance.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of plant equipment and operations.
    • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of plant performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Technical College Diploma in a relevant field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering).
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Cogeneration plant or similar industrial setting.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of Cogeneration plant operations and control systems.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
