Financial Performance:

Achieve risk targets to maintain cost of risk within business objectives, ensuring the financial stability of Nama United Financing Company.

Operational Excellence:

  1. Exercise sound judgment in credit risk assessment, protecting the interests of Nama United Financing Company.
  2. Receive and evaluate lease and instalment applications, collecting all required information for credit decisions.
  3. Verify applicant data in line with procedures to ensure applications are based on genuine and confirmed data with all required documentation present.
  4. Present complete and verified applications for credit decisions, highlighting any items of risk and any items requiring special attention such as deviations to standard policy and terms.
  5. Analyze applicant's financial information, including balance sheets, financial statements, accounts, debt exposure, and repayment capability, in accordance with company policy.
  6. Conduct quantitative and qualitative rating according to policy.
  7. Determine and set conditions for approvals as required by policy.
  8. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  9. If authorized, make credit decisions based on sound judgment of risk within delegated approval limits.
  10. Communicate all application decisions to dealers, including handling any queries with sales, dealers, or customers.
  11. Issue purchase orders as required and under policy.
  12. If required, follow up on regular decision reviews and renewals by collecting up-to-date customer information and conducting regular credit reviews.
  13. Control credit lines and overdraft facilities.
  14. Conduct required internal self-audit programs, reporting any non-compliant items as per the policy.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  1. High numeracy and analytical skills.
  2. Good knowledge and understanding of financial services business.
  3. Planning and organizing skills.
  4. Good skills in the use of MS Word and Excel.
  5. High standards of integrity.
  6. Basic level of English language proficiency.
  7. Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration with at least 2 years of experience in the financial sector.
