Job Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced Emergency Department Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing the daily operations of the emergency department, and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

About the Role:

  • Assist and support the Department Chairman in planning, organizing, and directing the operation of the Emergency Department (ED).
  • Maintain a high level of professional performance in accordance with Professional Medical Ethics, Hospital Medical Staff by-laws, Standards & Laws of the Ministry of Health in KSA, and other applicable regulations.
  • Provide effective leadership and administrative supervision, overseeing the implementation of regulations within the department.
  • Liaise with Nursing Division Leadership on operational issues.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the ED.
  • Orient and update staff members regarding hospital and department policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Medical Practitioner trained and Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Registration in Saudi Council for Health Specializations (SCHS) and current license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
  • 2 years' experience post-specialty training.
  • Ability to proficiently achieve all procedures in the attached Medical Staff Patient Care Privileging Form.
