About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security protocols, encryption technologies, and firewall management. They will be responsible for conducting regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and remediate potential security risks and weaknesses in the system.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design, deploy, and maintain security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols, to ensure robust protection of the organization's assets.
  2. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and remediate potential security risks and weaknesses in the system.
  3. Configure and manage security components for networks, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems, to ensure secure access and connectivity across the organization.
  4. Monitor for security breaches and respond to security incidents promptly. Lead investigations and work with teams to mitigate threats and minimize impact on the organization.
  5. Ensure compliance with industry security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) by implementing necessary controls and conducting regular audits and assessments.
  6. Assess and analyze security risks and recommend strategies for mitigating these risks while maintaining operational efficiency.
  7. Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices and the importance of maintaining strong security protocols.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least 2-4 years of experience as a Security Engineer, Cybersecurity Analyst, or a similar role.
