About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic team at Robert Bosch Group in Riyadh, KSA.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing legal support and guidance to the operations primarily in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of legal strategies for potential projects in the other countries in the Middle East Region.

This role will be based in Riyadh KSA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice to the business teams on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including contract drafting, evaluation, and negotiation.
  • Partner with cross-functional and regional teams to provide support on transactional matters, including sales, purchasing, licensing, services, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conduct holistic risk assessments and provide suggestions to enhance business value while mitigating downside risk across multiple areas of the company.
  • Assign external counsel to provide legal advice where necessary, including identifying issues for advice.
  • Advise Bosch businesses on legislation and implement solutions to address issues.
  • Ensure legal compliance with the laws and regulations.
  • Develop template legal documents and contracts with the business teams.
  • Follow up on litigation processes and maintain and update reports.
  • Develop creative solutions to meet current and evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with other legal teams and involve in global projects.
  • Support the digital transformation and ensure its active implementation.
Requirements
  • A law degree from a reputable university (LL.B) is required. A Master of laws (LL.M) from a European or US university is an advantage.
  • Preferably 4-7 years' experience as a qualified lawyer or a legal counsel at an international law firm and/or corporate legal department at a multinational company, preferably in KSA.
  • Experience in corporate and commercial legal practice in KSA and Middle East Region, with experience in service and technology relevant transactions.
  • Advanced level of English is a must. Arabic language (verbally and written) is highly desirable.
  • Great legal and business judgement in particular in ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to use legal tech tools, research on legal databases, and being curious about technology.
