About the Role

The Arab National Bank is looking for a skilled Hydration and Wellness Coordinator to join our team. As a Gym Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and energizing environment for our gym members by preparing and serving healthy beverages that cater to their fitness goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of protein shakes, smoothies, fresh juices, and wellness shots that meet the nutritional needs of our gym members.
  • Develop and implement a quality control process for the beverage preparation area to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Provide expert nutrition advice and recommend beverages that support members' fitness objectives, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.
  • Operate and maintain professional-grade blending and juicing equipment to ensure efficient and effective beverage preparation.
  • Process payments and manage cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Stock and inventory beverage ingredients and supplies to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations to protect the well-being of our gym members and staff.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to gym members, providing personalized attention and support to meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with fitness trainers and nutritionists to understand member wellness objectives and provide tailored beverage recommendations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Customer Service KPIs

  • Achieve a customer satisfaction rating of 90% or higher.
  • Minimize customer complaints and maintain a positive feedback loop.

Operational Efficiency KPIs

  • Ensure accuracy in beverage preparation to meet high-quality standards.
  • Meet speed of service targets, with an average preparation time under 3 minutes.
  • Manage inventory effectively to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
  • Maintain cash register accuracy and efficiency.

Sales and Upselling KPIs

  • Achieve daily/weekly sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling of nutrition products.
  • Increase repeat customer visits by providing excellent customer service and personalized recommendations.

Additional Expectations

  • Dress professionally and maintain a fitness-oriented appearance at all times.
  • Wear provided uniform and follow grooming standards to maintain a consistent image.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and wellness, setting a positive example for gym members and colleagues alike.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification in food handling and safety is essential.
  • 1-2 years of experience in beverage preparation (cafe, juice bar, or similar setting) is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (nutrition, fitness, or hospitality) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of nutrition and fitness principles is necessary.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in using commercial blenders, juicers, and point-of-sale systems.
  • Knowledge of various protein supplements and nutritional additives is beneficial.
  • Understanding of different dietary requirements (vegan, keto, gluten-free, etc.) is essential.
  • Basic math skills for transaction processing are necessary.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize tasks is crucial.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the gym environment.
  • Comfortable working in a gym environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to lift moderate weights are necessary.
  • Energetic and able to maintain a positive demeanor even in a fast-paced environment.
