Job Overview

This role is responsible for supporting the quality assurance process by checking the quality of all incoming and outgoing materials and products, as well as production procedures. You will be a key player in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain accurate records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
  2. Develop and implement effective procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
  3. Regularly monitor operations that affect quality and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Implement preventative measures to prevent health hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
  5. Review checklists regularly to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  6. Conduct regular audits on the production floor and with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to address quality and safety concerns promptly.
  8. Investigate and resolve root causes of quality issues with suppliers.
  9. Inspect the entire production cycle to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
  10. Develop and implement a comprehensive Food Quality strategy, goals, and objectives.
  11. Establish and maintain food safety policies, procedures, and protocols such as HACCP, sanitation, temperature logs, and cleaning schedules.
  12. Ensure the reliability and consistency of production by monitoring processes and final output.
  13. Verify that all legal standards are met.
  14. Identify quality defects and food safety issues and recommend solutions to these problems.
  15. Train the team on food safety best practices and implement policies and procedures to improve day-to-day operations.
  16. Ensure a safe and adequate work environment.
  17. Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry partners, and the community.
  18. Design products that adhere to legal and safety standards.
