Key Responsibilities

  2. Team Management: Lead a team of 5-6 engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Develop and implement effective strategies to attract, retain, and grow top engineering talent.
  3. Project Management: Collaborate with Product and UX teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Ensure timely and successful project execution, managing stakeholder expectations and communication.
  4. Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development. Apply this knowledge to drive technical innovation and improvement within the team.

Requirements
  • Management Experience: At least 2 years of experience in leading an engineering team of more than 5 members.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  1. Go Programming: Profound knowledge and experience in Go language.
  2. Go Frameworks: Proficiency in popular Go frameworks such as Gin or Echo.
  3. Databases: Strong experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
  4. Messaging Systems: Skilled in using messaging systems like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
  5. Container Orchestration: Expertise in Kubernetes for managing containerized applications.
  6. Cloud Services: Proficient with cloud services platforms like AWS, GCP, or OCI.
  7. CI/CD Practices: In-depth understanding and practical experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices.
  8. Testing: Comprehensive knowledge of testing methodologies including Unit, Integration, and Load testing.
  9. Startup Agility: Enthusiastic and adaptable to the dynamic and fast-paced environment of a startup.
  10. Agile/Scrum Mastery: Strong grasp of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to implement them effectively within the team.
