Job Summary:

IDG for INTL' Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Dairy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dairy farm, ensuring the highest standards of milk production and animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement operating and capital budgets for the dairy farm, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  2. Manage the procurement and execution of inputs, including animal feeds, drugs, and logistics, while monitoring costs and ensuring timely delivery.
  3. Review daily production reports, including milk production, animal health, and reproductive activities, to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Ensure the maintenance of a clean and hygienic farm environment, including the parlour, pens, and other facilities.
  5. Oversee the maintenance of watering systems, power supply machines, and other equipment, as well as any other projects within the farm.
  6. Liaise with relevant parties to manage cow health, production, and culling, as well as fodder field production plans.
  7. Monitor and evaluate milk production, young stock rearing, and milking cow performance, while implementing preventive measures and vaccinations as needed.
  8. Coordinate with other departments and sections to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  9. Manage personnel affairs, including administration and security.
  10. Procure necessary inputs and services, while performing other duties as delegated by the GM PF and Forestry.
