We're looking for a seasoned Senior Elastic Cloud Engineer who can help us take our data management capabilities to the next level. You'll need to have extensive hands-on experience with Elasticsearch administration, Kibana dashboards, and data pipelines. A strong understanding of BigQuery, MongoDB, and SQL queries is also essential, while experience with GoLang development is highly desirable. Your primary focus will be on designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines for real-time analysis and insights.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Elasticsearch Cloud Administration:
  • Design and deploy high-performance Elastic Cloud infrastructure for optimal scalability and reliability.
  • Optimize Elasticsearch clusters for performance, security, and availability.
  • Manage index lifecycle, configure efficient indexing strategies, and ensure high data availability.
  • Kibana Dashboards & Reporting:
  • Design and maintain Kibana dashboards for real-time data visualization and insights.
  • Develop complex queries and visualizations using Elasticsearch and Kibana.
  • Automate and generate reports based on Elasticsearch data, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Data Pipeline Management:
  • Design and build scalable data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data from various sources into Elasticsearch.
  • Integrate data from sources such as BigQuery, MongoDB, and SQL-based databases into Elasticsearch for real-time analysis.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of data across systems and maintain data consistency and quality.
  • BigQuery, MongoDB, and SQL Integration:
  • Extract, transform, and load data from BigQuery, MongoDB, and relational databases (using SQL queries).
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for integrating structured data from relational databases into Elasticsearch.
  • Work with unstructured and semi-structured data stored in MongoDB, ensuring efficient queries and transformations.
  • GoLang Development (Plus):
  • Contribute to developing backend applications using GoLang to enhance data manipulation, real-time analytics, and report generation.
  • Build and integrate services that interface with Elasticsearch, BigQuery, and other data platforms.
  • Data Security & Compliance:
  • Implement security best practices for Elasticsearch, including access control, encryption, and authentication (X-Pack, TLS).
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations for data privacy and implement effective backup/recovery solutions.
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
  • Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of Elasticsearch with other data platforms.
  • Document processes, configurations, and operational guidelines for managing the Elastic Cloud infrastructure and associated data pipelines.
