About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Event Management Director to lead our team in delivering exceptional events.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize and execute events from planning to execution, ensuring seamless delivery.
  • Lead a team of event coordinators to ensure timely and efficient event setup.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Supervise event décor design and coordination to match client requirements.
  • Manage inventory and equipment necessary for event decoration.
  • Address any issues promptly and efficiently during events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in event management and décor design.
  • Strong creative skills and experience in crafting unique and innovative designs.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and guide teams effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in English & Arabic.

Catering Skills:

  1. Menu Planning and Creation: Ability to design, plan, and customize menus based on client preferences and dietary restrictions.
  2. Food Preparation and Presentation: Knowledge of food preparation techniques, presentation styles, and keeping food fresh and appealing.
  3. Inventory Management: Proficiency in managing stock, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all food and beverage items are available for the event.
  4. Quality Control: Ensuring that food and beverages meet high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
  5. Staff Supervision: Experience managing kitchen and service staff, ensuring smooth operations during events.
  6. Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with clients, guests, and staff, ensuring satisfaction and handling complaints or requests professionally.
  7. Time Management: Coordinating cooking times, serving schedules, and delivery to ensure everything runs on time.

Event Design Skills:

  1. Event Conceptualization: Ability to collaborate with clients to conceptualize event themes, decor, and atmosphere.
  2. Decor Design and Styling: Expertise in designing event layouts, choosing color schemes, selecting furniture, and setting up table arrangements and floral designs.
  3. Vendor Coordination: Working with third-party vendors (florists, decorators, lighting specialists) to ensure cohesive event design.
  4. Space Planning: Understanding spatial layout, how to arrange furniture, and create flow for large groups of guests.
  5. Design Trends: Staying up-to-date on current event design trends, such as popular decor styles, new technologies (e.g., LED lighting), and eco-friendly options.
  6. Budgeting and Cost Management: Managing budgets for event design and ensuring that the event stays within financial parameters.
  7. Attention to Detail: Ensuring that every element of the event design aligns with the client's vision.
  8. Creative Problem Solving: Being able to quickly resolve design challenges.
