The Role

We're seeking a seasoned industry marketing leader to join our team as a Product Marketing Director. As a key member of our global marketing organization, you'll be responsible for leading the development of strategies, messaging, and tactics that drive business growth and customer adoption of our products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product marketing, with a focus on software solutions and a deep understanding of the power and utilities industry. You'll be working closely with our cross-functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that meet or exceed company financial growth initiatives and market goals.

As a Product Marketing Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of product marketing professionals to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborating with sales leadership to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Developing compelling messaging and thought leadership positioning.
  • Designing and executing product marketing campaigns that support go-to-market objectives.
  • Collaborating with product, marketing, and field organizations to build high-impact tactical plans.
  • Developing creative content for product collateral, video, web, and social media programs.
  • Working closely with marketing to understand campaign effectiveness and develop strategies to shift or enhance as needed.
  • Planning the launch of new products and releases and managing their cross-functional implementation.
  • Creating sales enablement tools to support effective and efficient engagement with target customers.
  • Developing programmatic live and on-demand sales training.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree required. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years power & utilities industry and/or software product marketing experience with at least 5 years of management experience.
  • Strategic thinker capable of building collaborative cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
  • Power and utilities industry domain knowledge (Generation, Transmission, and Distribution).
  • Action-oriented with skills to drive challenging projects to successful conclusion.
  • Proven ability to establish new ways of working and driving continuous improvement.
  • Strong experience in developing skills of the extended organization.
  • Skilled at distilling the complex into clear and concise form, verbally and in written word.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
