Job Role Summary
This role requires a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with extensive experience in HV power systems or a heavy industrial environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing safety switching experience, power plant operational experience, and general certificate in occupational health and safety/IT/cyber security experience.
Key Accountabilities
- Deliver exceptional maintenance and repair services for the LTSA.
- Work collaboratively with the existing Service team to develop and maintain their skills and competencies.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and participate in significant maintenance tasks on an impromptu basis as required.
- Support the wider HVDC system as and when required by the needs of the business.
- Maximize the design life of the system and maintain its value.
- Maintain a strong relationship with the valued customer.
- Adhere to Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity.
About You
- You have a minimum of 5+ years' experience in HV power systems or a heavy industrial environment.
- You possess excellent technical knowledge of HV/LV electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems.
- You have experience providing safety from the system and safe systems of work.
- You have maintenance/fault finding experience with UPS systems, battery chargers, air handling units, pumps, PLCs & generators.
- You hold a driving license.
- You have fire detection and protection system awareness/maintenance experience.
- You have maintenance/fault finding experience with SCADA/PLCs and control systems.
- You are proficient in both spoken & written English.
