Senior Financial Analyst

Our prestigious client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends. They will develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting, and present recommendations to management and executives. Additionally, they will conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis, reconcile existing transactions, and maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends.

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Review letter of credits and other performance guarantees.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential, and familiarity with data query/data management tools is highly beneficial (Access, SQL, Business Objects).
• Transactional data processing knowledge via business end-to-end process.
• Ensure business queries are resolved and responded to in a timely manner.
• Gather and evaluate information about the organization's overall performance to inform priorities.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Professional Qualification in Banking, Insurance, or Risk, Treasury (ACII, FCII, FRM, CTP, CFA preferred).
• At least 9-11 years of relevant work experience in treasury/cash management or banking field preferred.
• Experience in financial modeling.
• Proven experience in budgeting and forecasting.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
