GIS Technical Advisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Technical Advisor to join our team at Hitachi Energy in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our High Voltage Business, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation, repair, and maintenance of our switching systems worldwide.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain high voltage systems in accordance with our technical specifications and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and guidelines, including those related to live system components.
• Collaborate with our project managers to plan and coordinate workforces, ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Inspect and coordinate the handling of materials, identifying and reporting any damage or missing equipment.
• Supervise final installation tests and document completion, ensuring adherence to our quality standards.
• Participate in site meetings and contribute to the development of our GIS product knowledge.
• Represent Hitachi Energy in dealings with clients, demonstrating our core values of safety and integrity.

Your Background

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a high diploma.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in GIS, with a strong background in SF6 gas handling and HE-CH GIS product knowledge.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
