Job Overview

The role of C4I Quality Assurance Engineer DALMA 178QAE is to ensure the delivery of high-quality C4I systems. This includes advising QA management on the status of installations, providing key quality indicators, and conducting audits to verify system compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical support for concept of installation, operations (CONOPS) and maintenance for the C4I systems and the Quality Assurance and Inspection team.
  2. Monitor all maintenance activities to ensure personnel perform maintenance according to published directives, policies, safety regulations, and procedures.
  3. Conduct periodic audits to verify installations are properly identified, recommend corrective action when discrepancies are found.
  4. Act as an independent quality test engineer for hardware/software installations.
  5. Provide project management functions for maintenance QC activities, making recommendations for improvements.
  6. Maintain QC related documentation, e.g., QA Maintenance Operating Instructions (MOI).
  7. Monitor and execute personnel evaluations using procedures, checklists, baselines, guidelines, technical orders, and standards.
  8. Support the Maintenance Standards Evaluation Team (MSET) in accordance with the Maintenance Standards Evaluation Program (MSEP).
  9. Provide training to personnel and augment existing OJT training programs as required.
  10. Serve as a Quality Assurance advisor assisting maintenance supervisors and managers in resolving performance issues.
  11. Generate reports and give presentations to senior management staff members as needed.
