Job Description:

At Spray Products Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Clerk to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accurately audit inbound and outbound shipments to prevent errors and discrepancies
  2. Routinely execute cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
  3. Manage damages found within the facility and dispose of them according to company requirements
  4. Verify the quantity, quality, markings, and integrity of warehoused inventories
  5. Investigate inventory discrepancies to identify root causes
  6. Analyze shipping and inbound errors to validate findings
  7. Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE)
  8. Perform physical inventories as required
  9. Collaborate closely with plant operations, inventory, transportation, and distribution teams
  10. Follow up on shortages, damaged items, and discrepancies with supervisors and other departments
  11. Participate in special projects as directed
  12. Implement company policies and initiatives

Requirements:

  1. Degree: High School Diploma
  2. Experience in manufacturing, inventory, warehouse, and transportation operations
  3. Prior experience in manufacturing, inventory, and warehouse operations

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities:

  1. Understanding of manufacturing, inventory, and warehouse operations
  2. Familiarity with warehouse operations, both clerical and direct
  3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
  4. Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  5. Able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines while maintaining high accuracy
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  1. Able to work in a chemical manufacturing environment
  2. Occasionally required to reach, squat, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
  3. Might require occasional domestic travel
  4. Overtime may be necessary on occasion
