Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team at Lucidya. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure and processes to protect our organization's systems and data.



Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Security Measures: Develop and implement proactive security measures to prevent potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Regular Security Assessments and Penetration Tests: Conduct regular security assessments and penetration tests to identify and address vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
  • Security Solutions Development: Design and implement effective security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption mechanisms, to protect our organization's assets.
  • Incident Response and Analysis: Monitor and analyze security incidents, investigate any breaches, and take prompt action to minimize their impact.
  • Staying Up-to-Date with Security Threats: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the latest security threats, technologies, and best practices to ensure our organization remains secure.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a secure infrastructure that aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.


Requirements

  2. Education and Certifications: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, and hold relevant security certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
  3. Experience and Skills: Have prior experience in a Security Engineer role or similar position, with a strong understanding of network security, application security, and data protection concepts.
  4. Technical Expertise: Be proficient in security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and have knowledge of cloud security principles and technologies.
  5. Compliance Standards: Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001 and GDPR is essential.
