Job Description: Transactional Business Finance Sr. Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing Business Acumen: Develop in-depth knowledge of transactional business operations and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  2. Strategic Roadmap Development: Collaborate with the business to create a quarterly, yearly, and strategic roadmap that ensures profitable growth and achieves targets.
  3. Performance Monitoring: Monitor channel coverage, distribution, resource allocation, financial performance, and profitability across various product lines and sales regions.
  4. Commercial and Marketing Strategy Support: Challenge and support commercial and marketing strategies to capture profitable growth, including AMSP and strategic initiatives.
  5. Change Management: Identify and address changes in the environment, root causes of performance issues or deviations from the roadmap, risks, and opportunities.
  6. Corrective Actions: Decide on corrective or compensatory actions with the business, channels, and regions to meet priorities and targets.
  7. Pricing Performance: Monitor pricing performance and support business teams in making informed decisions.

Business Performance Analysis and Collaboration:

  1. Closing Activities: Contribute to closing activities with the performance team to ensure accurate and fair P&L reporting.
  2. Commercial Performance Analysis: Help the business understand commercial performance across different business models.
  3. Performance Follow-up: Conduct performance follow-ups across various dimensions, including top-line revenue, profitability, customer, channel, and offers.
  4. Inter-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with other finance sub-functions, including credit, treasury, internal/external audit, accounting, and GSC finance.

Transformation and Key Areas:

  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicate financial insights, and promote a culture of transparency and accountability.
  2. Global Initiatives: Participate in global or zone-level initiatives and take ownership of assignments as required.
  3. Teamwork and Digital Mindset: Demonstrate a team player mindset with a commercial perspective, being dynamic, proactive, collaborative, curious, and open-minded, while embracing digital transformation.
  4. Governance: Ensure business compliance and ethics, and support the business in risk detection and management.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration or equivalent.
  2. Language Proficiency: English and Arabic language proficiency.
  3. Experience: 5 years of experience in business partnering, FP&A, finance controlling, and audit from reputable MNCs or Big 4.
  4. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of transactional business.
  5. Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, organizational, and communication skills.
