Job Title: Egress Technician

Job Summary:

BAE Systems (New) is seeking a highly skilled Egress Technician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As an Egress Technician, you will be responsible for performing egress maintenance, repairs, and modifications on Tornado aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform egress maintenance, repairs, and modifications on Tornado aircraft in accordance with approved data and technical orders.
2. Ensure the quality and completeness of work performed, or signed for, on an aircraft or aircraft component.
3. Work within the requirements of the TSS Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and RSAF Technical Orders.
4. Complete maintenance paperwork forms, aircraft forms, records, and maintenance documentation.
5. Ensure maximum effort is made to safeguard the TSS programme timescales in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
6. Highlight areas of inexperience or training requirements to immediate supervisors.
7. Provide on-the-job and theory training for trainees.
8. Deputise for the Egress supervisor as required.

Requirements:

1. Extensive experience in trade speciality or repair and modification on Tornado Aircraft.
2. Current authorisations for Egress maintenance.
3. Completion of Tornado Egress/Armament Maintenance course.
4. Explosive handling course.
5. Working knowledge of Q-pulse, GOLD, and an understanding of M&CA processes.
6. Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
7. Hold a current driving licence.
8. A sound understanding of the RSAF series and supporting technical publications applicable to the work area.
9. An understanding of the RSAF Operation and working practices.
