Job Title: Project Manager - Infrastructure - Data Center

Parsons is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Infrastructure - Data Center to lead our team in delivering complex infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and risk mitigations, while ensuring the successful delivery of projects to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and delivery for infrastructure projects, ensuring operational consistency across the program of work.
  • Develop and execute project work plans, revising them as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identify and assign resources needed by contractors, ensuring effective project execution.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project, reviewing deliverables prepared by the delivery team before passing them to the client team.
  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures, ensuring project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Manage, mitigate, and minimize exposure and risk/issues on the project, analyzing problems at an early stage and recommending optimal solutions.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings, providing updates and tracking project timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Communicate project information to superiors, delivering engaging and informative presentations as needed.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion, demonstrating skillful communication of difficult/sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or related discipline with a minimum of 14 years' experience in large construction and data center projects, across multi-disciplinary and functional teams.
  • Project Management certificate (PMP) and valid.
  • Data Center Certification by Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Design (ATD) and knowledge of TIA standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with proven experience working in complex design and construction environments.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, interact with senior-level management, and consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
  • Strong management skills to lead a team, manage consultants and contractors, and excellent customer-facing and presentation skills.
  • Health, safety, sustainability, environmental, and quality knowledge and leadership, with stakeholder coordination experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Previous Saudi Arabian experience or international experience.
  • Advantageous to have extensive experience in management of design and construction of data centers and contracting in challenging multi-partner environments.
  • Very strong communication skills in English, written and spoken, with knowledge of Arabic being advantageous.
