About the Role

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to lead our infrastructure development projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for infrastructure development projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and client requirements.
  2. Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and project performance.
  3. Team Management: Direct and coordinate the activities of project teams, including engineers, designers, and subcontractors, to ensure project success.
  4. Client Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, fostering collaboration and trust.
  5. Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing issues and risks in a timely manner to ensure project delivery.
  6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, standards, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on project status, budget, schedule, and key performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Professional Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification required.
  3. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure development projects.
  4. Leadership Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
  5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  6. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  7. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices for infrastructure development projects.
