Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Procurement/Purchase Officer to join our team at PrecisionHire Solutions. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for managing the hotel's procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Receive and Process Purchase Requisitions:**
  • Receive purchase requisitions from various departments and process them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • **Request and Evaluate Quotations:**
  • Request prices of goods from several suppliers and evaluate quotations to ensure the best value for the hotel.
  • **Maintain Supplier Relationships:**
  • Maintain direct contact with suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of goods and services.
  • **Assist in Order Preparation:**
  • Assist the Purchasing Coordinator in the preparation of orders and their sequence to ensure timely delivery.
  • **Conduct Daily Reports:**
  • Conduct daily reports on the receipt of goods and report any discrepancies between delivered goods and requirements.
  • **Maintain Supplier Folders:**
  • Keep updated folders of providers and alternative quotes for different types of products.

Requirements:

  • **Education:**
  • Complete degree or studying in related fields such as business administration, supply chain management, or hospitality.
  • **Language:**
  • Knowledge of Arabic and English.
  • **Skills:**
  • Basic knowledge of accounting.
  • Experience in the buyer area, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Sense of organization and planning.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork orientation.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge in computer science, including Explorer, Excel, and Word.
  • Proactive approach to meet deadlines and objectives.
