Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Export Compliance professional to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience in export compliance, regulatory affairs, and project management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving export controls implementations and export licensing frameworks in Singapore and the APAC region.
Main Responsibilities- Regulatory Expertise: Provide strategic export compliance subject matter expertise to advise internal business customers and influence AWS APAC export compliance policies, processes, and compliance initiatives.
- Process Development: Develop, implement, enhance, and maintain strategic compliance processes and solutions for managing APAC region export regulatory licensing and compliance, including Singapore TradeFirst and Tier 3 license, driving continuous improvements.
- Regulatory Engagement: Partner with Public Policy to engage export control regulators.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Monitor regulatory changes.
- Metrics and Reporting: Create metrics for management reporting.
- Process Improvement: Drive process improvement and compliance implementation projects.
- Leadership Communication: Own leadership communications to stakeholder teams and executive leadership.
- Innovation: Innovate control mechanisms to best meet business goals and compliance requirements.
