Job Role Description

The Operational Director will lead the KSA office, overseeing all in-country operations, including Sales & Business Development, Logistics, Contracts, and Payroll functions. The role requires a diverse skill set encompassing operational management, commercial knowledge, business development, and negotiation skills at a senior level.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Assume full responsibility for the business unit's financial performance, ensuring budgeted targets, including Headcount, Revenue, Gross Profit (GP), and EBITDA are met.
  2. Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  3. Ensure fiscal and operational compliance in line with local regulations and company policies.
Key Accountabilities:
  1. Effective management of the Government Relations Officer (GRO) function to maintain consistent Iqama availability for employees.
  2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with governmental and statutory bodies, including Immigration and Tax offices, to ensure compliance with all local regulations.
  3. Manage nationalisation regulations through the Nitaqat system to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.
Business Development & Growth:
  1. Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities to expand the Airswift customer base in KSA.
  2. Increase sales performance by implementing targeted strategies and ensuring client satisfaction.
  3. Continually review business strategy and proactively assess potential risks.
Operational Efficiency & Service Delivery:
  1. Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service delivery to clients.
  2. Continuously review and enhance operational efficiencies to optimise workflow and service quality.
  3. Visit satellite offices and client work sites regularly to assess operations and strengthen client relationships.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with local supply chains and service providers.
Team Leadership & Organisational Development:
  1. Develop and lead the KSA team, driving professional performance and team development.
  2. Recruit and onboard local support staff to manage logistics and administrative functions.
  3. Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and mentorship programs.
