Job Summary

Informa Connect of Informa PLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Creative Lead to join our team. As a Senior Creative Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation, design, and printing of promotional materials for our tourism events' marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Brand Development
  • Work with marketers and other internal stakeholders to create materials for campaign promotion, internal documentation, and content marketing projects.
  • Ensure branding guidelines and workflows are clearly communicated for production of artwork.
Design and Production
  • Research design sources and new ideas.
  • Prepare artwork for print and outdoor events.
Project Management
  • Cater to any urgent requests from senior stakeholders.
  • Concept development and new templates.
  • Picture research and image manipulation.
  • Liaise and negotiate with external suppliers.
Team Management
  • Ability to manage multiple events.
  • Manage a pool of freelancers to meet deadlines.
Marketing Support
  • Create templates (mainly PowerPoint) for marketers to produce promotional material that meets branding standards.
  • Organise and manage the work schedule to ensure guidelines are clearly communicated and deadlines met.
Digital Strategy
  • Support the marketing department's digital strategy by expanding services offered (video, web design).
Business Development
  • Develop relationships with commercial printers that maximise efficiencies and service levels.
  • Manage Marketing Design budget.

Requirements

  1. Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of page layout, proof marks/mark-ups, stylesheets, and ability to follow design templates.
  • Good knowledge of Litho Printing, Digital Printing, 4 colour process and Pantone Colours, colour correction and picture manipulation.
  • Good knowledge of the difference between web and print design.
  • Very good knowledge of Mac OS, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
  • Good knowledge of Illustrator and Premiere Pro.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience.
Skills and Behaviours
  • Communication: Able to communicate, both internally and externally, with both expert staff and non-expert colleagues.
  • Workload management: Ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks and projects, delivering on time.
