About the Role

Creative Personnel is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Audio Visual team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue in the Audio Visual sector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of sales support and internal account managers to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  2. Sales Support: Provide sales support to the sales and technical teams, ensuring that customers receive excellent service and support.
  3. Business Development: Work with management to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and revenue in the Audio Visual sector.
  4. Account Management: Manage a portfolio of accounts, including key customers and prospects, to ensure that sales targets are met and exceeded.
  5. Quotations and Proposals: Prepare and submit accurate and complete quotations and proposals to customers, ensuring that all requirements are met and that sales targets are achieved.
  6. Customer Interface: Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring that all customer interactions are professional and courteous.
  7. Sales Incentives: Participate in sales support incentives to drive sales growth and revenue.
  8. Order Progression: Liaise with internal departments to ensure that orders are processed efficiently and effectively.
  9. Special Bids: Manage and implement customer-specific special bids to drive sales growth and revenue.
  10. Contract Renewals: Manage and implement support and maintenance contract renewals to ensure that sales targets are met and exceeded.
  11. Engineer Scheduling: Manage engineer scheduling to ensure that customer requirements are met and that sales targets are achieved.
Requirements
  1. Industry Knowledge: Maintain a high level of knowledge around the products and services offered by Creative Personnel.
  2. Training and Development: Undergo appropriate training to maintain a high level of knowledge and to develop skills and expertise.
  3. Issue Resolution: Resolve or escalate all issues in a timely manner, ensuring that customer satisfaction is maintained.
  4. Team Management: Manage a training matrix and development plan for your team, ensuring that all team members have the skills and expertise required to meet sales targets.
  5. Reporting: Provide reporting data as required, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded.
  6. IT Literacy: Accurately and effectively use internal Information Technology systems to support sales activities.
  7. Customer Satisfaction: Achieve and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction through professional engagement at all times and at all levels within the customer and internal departments.
  8. Attention to Detail: Demonstrate good attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
  9. Task Ownership: Take ownership of tasks and follow through to full completion, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded.
  10. Organisational Abilities: Demonstrate good organisational abilities, including the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  11. IT Skills: Be I.T. literate, especially in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
  12. Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate good interpersonal and telephone skills, ensuring that customer interactions are professional and courteous.
