Grocery Business Growth Lead

**Job Summary:**
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Amazon MENA team as a Grocery Business Growth Lead. The role is focused on driving growth in our grocery business by building strong relationships with vendors, developing strategies for category management, and analyzing key metrics to drive improvements.
The successful candidate will have excellent business judgment, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. They will also have experience managing large data sets and utilizing them to drive performance and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies for category management, including building seasonal portfolios and negotiating terms of trade with vendors.
- Analyze key metrics to drive improvements in selection, profitability, pricing, and availability.
- Build relationships with vendors, adding selection, managing category profitability, optimizing pricing, and developing teams.
- Source deals during Tier 1/2 events to ensure value is offered to Prime customers.
- Negotiate marketing funds from vendors for category visibility during BAU/events.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
- Fruits & Vegetables Vendor management and retail experience is a must.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to represent Amazon with external C level executives.
