Key Responsibilities- Design and Development of Mechanical Systems:
- Develop and design mechanical systems for railway vehicles, including engines, braking systems, HVAC, and suspension systems.
- Ensure that designs meet safety standards, performance requirements, and durability under different operating conditions.
- Collaborate with electrical and civil engineers to integrate mechanical systems with other railway infrastructure components.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance of rolling stock, including locomotives, freight, and passenger cars.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in engines, braking systems, suspension, and other mechanical components.
