About the Job

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation, scalability, and security of our organization's IT infrastructure.

Job Summary:
  • Manage servers, networks, and cloud-based systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Responsibilities:
  1. Server Administration
  • Maintain, configure, and monitor servers (Windows/Linux) and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Monitor system logs and diagnose hardware/software issues.
Network Security
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational security policies.
  • Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
Disaster Recovery
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Manage data backup and recovery solutions, performing routine testing to validate effectiveness.
Cloud Computing
  • Manage cloud-based services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ensure seamless integration with on-premise systems.
  • Maintain and optimize virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
Technical Documentation
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, including system configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
  • Proficiency in server administration, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with backup & disaster recovery solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
