IT Manager

We are partnering with a leading provider of Facility Management and Catering solutions in the KSA market to deliver innovative and efficient services. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining all systems on-site and remotely, working closely with and training Systems & Database Administrators.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Project Management

  • Lead large IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Organize and establish deadlines for major IT projects such as system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Manage and report on the IT budgets allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing ROI.

2. Infrastructure Strategy and Analysis

  • Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, making recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

3. Security and Compliance

  • Conduct routine evaluations of network and data security to preserve assets and ensure information security, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes to maintain compliance and effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement.

4. Vendor Management and Testing

  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software to ensure quality and reliability, minimizing risks and downtime.

5. Troubleshooting and Support

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

6. Team Development and Training

  • Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning, and ensuring the team is equipped to meet future challenges.

7. Strategic Problem-Solving

  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in a timely manner, contributing to organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to enhance organizational policy, ensuring seamless integration with business objectives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in IT operations, with a proven track record of leading and managing large IT projects.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
  • Must be an Arabic Speaker, with Fluency in English.
