Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Manager

Parsons Oman is seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to lead our team in ensuring compliance with government, client, and Parsons requirements regarding environmental protection and improvement. As the technical lead and authority for the Parsons delivery organization, you will be responsible for developing and deploying strategies to achieve sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies to meet client and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide oversight of project-level risks and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Work in partnership with clients and stakeholders to achieve sustainability goals.
  • Represent Parsons and the client as required, providing expert advice on environmental sustainability matters.
  • Manage and implement environmental sustainability programs, including development and deployment of strategies, and monitoring of progress.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in environmental sustainability.
  • Deliver presentations and training to staff on environmental sustainability matters.
  • Drive continuous improvement and positive change within the organization.

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree in a technical field or related field (or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of directly related work experience.
  • LEED AP, ESTIDAMA, and/or GSAS/QSAS accredited and certified is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate appropriate ongoing Continued Professional Development.
  • Must possess leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of SH&E officers.
  • Proactive acumen and an ability to manage multiple working areas on site are essential.
