About the Role

Giza Systems KSA is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Operations and Maintenance department. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities with the concerned parties, preparing and submitting weekly activity/progress reports and time sheets to the operation manager, reviewing and approving all maintenance plans and reports, reviewing all catalogs and manuals, and reviewing and approving all work orders on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Manage the day-to-day activities with the concerned parties, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit weekly activity/progress reports and time sheets to the operation manager, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Maintenance Planning and Review: Review and approve all maintenance plans and reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Catalog and Manual Review: Review all catalogs and manuals, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to the company's operations.
  • Work Order Review and Approval: Review and approve all work orders on a weekly basis, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively.

Technical Skills


Experience: Not less than 7 years of experience in operation and maintenance, with a strong background in mechanical engineering.

Industry Experience: Not less than 3 years of experience in the field of water and sewage plants and networks, with a strong understanding of maintenance management systems.

Skills: Ability to review and evaluate existing maintenance programs, record assets, and submit required reports, with knowledge of maintenance management systems such as EAM.

Education: Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Communication Engineering.
