Job Summary

This role requires a detailed understanding and practical experience of Instrumentation and Control maintenance activities related to modern combined cycle gas turbine plant, desalination plant, and a wide range of auxiliary plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
  • Perform maintenance activities on a range of major instruments and control systems in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals.
  • Organize spares, tools, and equipment to carry out maintenance activities.
  • Carry out calibration of field instruments, analyzers, chromatographs, and control valves, with expertise in handling Instrumentation and Control (I&C) test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues to determine failure conditions and rectify defects.
  • Collaborate with Plant Operations Personnel to resolve problems encountered with control equipment under the guidance of the I&C Foreman/Engineer.
  • Work with minimal supervision to ensure efficient and high-quality plant routines.
  • Ensure a safe working environment for self and colleagues while working on equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of health and safety and safe working practices.
  • Possess good command of the English language.
