Key Responsibilities

Planning

  • Lead the preparation of the Fraud Prevention Unit based on fraud risk assessment to set out the priorities of the business monitoring dashboard (Business KPIs), consistent with organizational objectives.

Operational

  • Develop a methodology to investigate potential occurrences of fraud by creating business intelligence analytics reports to improve and strengthen forensic analytics and partner with various departments and stakeholders in identifying and assessing fraud and service-related risks.
  • Ensure data integrity and investigate data mapping to the main data warehouse for BI analytics.
  • Coordinate with business partners in enhancing and developing Retail & Business Analytics: Basket Analysis, Customer Management Analysis, Sales Analysis, Category and Events Analysis, and Supply Chain related Analysis.
  • Manage the pre-identified business KPIs-dashboard to support activities and techniques that promptly recognize whether fraud has occurred or is occurring.
  • Provide periodic evaluation of anti-fraud controls based on detailed fraud risk management.
  • Implement technology to aid in continuous monitoring and detection activities.
  • Assist the Head of Compliance in field planning and development.
  • Conduct interviews, review documents, develop and administer surveys, compose summary memos, prepare working papers, identify and define issues, review and analyze evidence, document processes and procedures, and document issues and recommendations.
  • Maintain productive relationships with business units and staff through individual contacts and group meetings.
  • Uphold the Company's standards for Professional Practice and the Code of Ethics developed by ACFE and Panda standards.
  • Administer the assessment of fraud risks and internal controls within the audited area; identify process weaknesses and inefficiencies, evaluate Risks and Controls, and prepare fraud Risk and anti-fraud Control matrix.
  • Collaborate with other department managers (IT, Finance, Operations, etc.) on Compliance-internal audit matters to achieve company objectives and ensure implementation of agreed remediation plans.
  • Stay updated on general business/economic developments and new professional announcements & standards to understand their links and impact on the organization. Apply technical standards.
  • Maintain a positive, professional relationship with staff and management at all levels, ensuring a professional appearance at all times.
  • Coordinate with other Audit Division units and activities to effectively utilize resources, manage priorities, and remain responsive and proactive.

Reporting

  • Communicate and discuss analytics studies report results via written reports and oral presentations to the CAE and Head of Compliance.
  • Report Business KPIs red flags to Head of Compliance timely and prepare for root analysis.
  • Report to Head of Compliance on a monthly basis regarding pending remediation plans.

Follow Up

  • Ensure that all agreed remediation plans are subsequently implemented.
  • Perform follow-up procedures timely to determine whether agreed remediation plans have been implemented.

People Management

  • Keep abreast of the latest updates in ACFE, audit, risk management, and fraud fields to enhance departmental capabilities.
  • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibilities, and monitor workflow.
  • Plan, manage, and review individual performance, providing regular feedback, development, and coaching, taking prompt action where necessary.
