Job Summary

Tait is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Venue Operations team, you will be responsible for the logistics and management of all elements related to the Venue as a permanent site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations, site planning, and implementation, including team members and crew, project scope completion, and direct management of suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and communicate project status, coordinate schedules, crew/staff calls, track client deliverables, and ensure the ongoing success of the Venue operations.
  • Oversee site infrastructure, including rental cabins/containers, permanent structures, site infrastructure items, water connections, power plans and distribution, hardware, tools, placement of fencing, bike racks, barricades, interior walls, layouts, lighting, mapping, and miscellaneous site builds.
  • Manage parking lot and offsite construction, including cable trenching, cabins, fencing, lighting, lane marking, gates, car park barrier, signage.
  • Coordinate site operations, including moving or maintaining cable ramps, cleaning, cranes, fuel, golf carts, trucks, heavy equipment, restrooms, signage install support, truck marshalling, and deliveries.
  • Work closely with the Site Operations and Venues team to carry out assigned projects and duties, including regular check-ins on progress and maintaining standards to completion.
  • Perform site inspections and site visits as required.
  • Manage contractors or suppliers, including review of crew Induction, Health & Safety standards, working schedules, and equipment needs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, event management/production, or similar.
  • TUV (or equivalent) license to drive plant and work with heavy machinery.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in similar roles.
  • Strong project management and budget experience.
  • Ability to work with heavy equipment and drive plant.
  • Understanding of Site Plans and executing changes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and suppliers.
