Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company-Luberef is seeking a skilled Process Unit Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of process operations and the ability to work independently.

About the Job:

  1. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper unit hand-over during shift change, maintaining seamless operation and ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
  2. The incumbent will conduct routine activities as per checklist and reading sheet filled as per schedule, guaranteeing compliance with established procedures.
  3. They will issue work permits correctly, thoroughly filling all applicable fields and signing in the field, adhering to industry standards.
  4. The technician will properly isolate, drain, vent, and tag equipment according to standard procedures, minimizing risks and ensuring safe working conditions.
  5. They will respond promptly to unit emergencies, following established protocols to prevent damage or injury.
  6. The incumbent will ensure safe unit shutdown and startup procedures are followed, maintaining equipment integrity and efficiency.
  7. They will supervise work progress at site, updating log books accurately and maintaining records as required.
  8. The technician will manage proper isolation to critical equipment and update LOTO record sheets, preventing unauthorized access.
  9. They will maintain adequate housekeeping around areas of responsibility, reporting any abnormalities to immediate supervisors.
  10. The incumbent will notify DCS operators to raise maintenance notifications, tracking status for prompt resolution.
  11. They will review unit and equipment PSSR prior to startup, ensuring readiness and safety.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in English language (level 4).
