Job Title: BIM Engineer

Jasara Program Management Company is seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer to support the design process and ensure the successful implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the design service provisions by appointed consultants, including technical team leadership and management of design deliverables.
  2. Coordinate the efforts of all consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders associated with the project.
  3. Review and investigate design deliverables to ensure buildability, constructibility, and workability, and that designs are free of errors or omissions.
  4. Review design deliverables to ensure compatibility, integrity, coordination, and thoroughness.
  5. Issue formal review reports.
  6. Hold design validation workshops with design consultants and provide recommendations reports.
  7. Review estimated budgets and recommend adjustments and cost-saving options without impacting constructability, quality, or project timelines.
  8. Participate in Q/A workshops in the tender phase and provide necessary responses.
  9. Liaise with cost consultants and QS to manage elemental budgeting, BOQ production, tender documentation, and financial management.
  10. Closely coordinate with lead consultants, architects, and design consultants as necessary.
  11. Participate in design coordination and quality assurance management.
  12. Attend meetings as required to ensure knowledge of ongoing matters affecting project costs and proper execution of works.
  13. Manage and administer all activities, including consultant, FIDIC engineer, quantity surveyor, operator, procurement, supplier, utility provider, and statutory authority activities, to meet the requirements and objectives of the First Party.
  14. Monitor design in conjunction with the design team to ensure the First Party's brief is maintained.
  15. Establish communication, reporting, and authorization procedures between the First Party and lead consultants/design consultants.
  16. Advise the First Party on the need to appoint consultants and define the scope of services for each consultancy package.
  17. Inform the First Party in writing of any likely effects on the project or its cost, quality, or function, and provide advice and recommendations.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
  2. 10 years of proven experience, including 3 years of experience on similar projects with Middle East project experience.
  3. Proficiency in reporting with PowerBI.
  4. Certification in ISO 19650 standards.
  5. Solid knowledge of BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
  6. Experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams and resolving clashes.
  7. Strong technical skills in generating detailed design documentation and drawings.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
  11. Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction industry standards and regulations is a plus.
