Job Title: Chief Accountant

About the Role:

Merge Recruitment Agency is seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and investigate financial entries, documents, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Determine the proper handling of financial transactions and approve transactions within designated limits.
  3. Coordinate the monthly closing process and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  4. Review and manage account payables and account receivables, following up on overdue accounts to support the company's cash flow.
  5. Prepare the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
  6. Develop and manage the monthly income budget and cash budget.
  7. Prepare analysis for sales, purchasing, and variance analysis.
  8. Lead and manage the finance team, distributing activities and tasks effectively.
  9. Prepare monthly sales budget, production budget, cash budget, and income budget.
  10. Ensure daily clearance for all sales representatives.
  11. Prepare the salaries sheet and manage employee benefits.
  12. Manage monthly A/P entries, check suppliers' due balances, and update aging of accounts payable.
  13. Prepare monthly reconciliation of accounts payable and ensure accurate account balances.
  14. Mentor and guide the team on balance confirmation and reconciliation.
  15. Verify and process Letters of Credit and amendments, and ensure accurate payment processing.
  16. Integrate and coordinate between the purchase department, inventory control, and accounts payable.
  17. Manage account receivable transactions and reconcile customer accounts.
  18. Handle GL accounting for expense transactions and conduct bank reconciliations.

Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

• Professional certification (CFA, CPA, or CMA) is preferred.

• 8-12 years of experience in accounting, manufacturing, and industry.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in relevant computer software.

• Fluent in English.
